Akhilesh Yadav Visits Lok Nayak Hospital, Meets Delhi Water Minister Atishi

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav visited Lok Nayak Hospital and met Delhi Water Minister Atishi to inquire about her health condition. Ms. Atishi is currently undergoing treatment after her blood sugar level dropped on Monday during a hunger strike. The hunger strike, which began on the 21st of this month demanding more water from Haryana, was suspended following her hospitalization.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Delhi MP, Harsh Malhotra, criticized the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government, blaming them for the water crisis in the city. Speaking to the media outside Parliament, Mr. Malhotra alleged that despite adequate water availability, Delhiites are facing difficulties due to corruption and poor planning by the Delhi government. He further alleged a nexus between the AAP government and the tanker mafia.
